Great bang for your buck

I love this watch. I am an avid runner and find the Garmin 955 extremely easy to use as well as great features such as training readiness and sleep score. I have also used the watch a little bit for swimming and also found it easy to use. There battery life lasts forever and chargers super quick. if you are and intermediate to advanced runner I would highly suggest this watch. Definitely a step up from my Apple Watch ahah.

I love my Forerunner 955

Watch is great, I came from a Whoop, and I do feel Whoop had more accurate data in certain areas, but the amount of activities and in depth data for Tri activities specifically blows my mind. Also being able to see time, stopwatch/timer, alarms, and play music is amazing. It is almost an overload of data, so definitely a learning curve for beginners.

A must have!!

I have LOVED this garmin! It has been awesome back country skiing and hiking. I also love all the info it gives me about my runs, it's made training for my next marathon that much better. Awesome all terain, all activity watch. The only thing that isn't my favorite is that if I want to track strength training, there's really not HIIT option, and I'd have to put in all my sets manually which I don't want to do. However for me, the vast datasets, sleep scores, and GPS makes up for it to me!! Super worth it! Awesome watch!

Huge upgrade from the 945. I love the battery life, and the other health tracking features. The touch screen isn't like an Apple Watch, but it's what I need. The only critique is that this watch's notifications aren't easily managed through Apple. I basically have to keep my phone on do not disturb or turn off notifications through various apps. Either way, love the Garmin for its fitness tracking capabilities and sleep metrics.

I upgraded to the Forerunner 955 from an old TomTom watch. I don't have experience with any other gps watches but this was a night and day difference. My old watch only got put on for runs but the 955 looks like a normal watch and tracks a lot other things (heart rate, sleep, etc) so it remains on all the time. I thought the price was a little steep when I purchased it but its proven to be worth every penny. I've had the 955 for almost a year and I'm still learning new features. If I had one gripe, it's that some of the menus are hard to navigate and some features are buried so the learning curve is long. The gps features are excellent, though, it cues up very quickly and the offline maps are invaluable. I recommend this watch to all my friends.

This watch has an extremely long battery life and a gorilla glass screen which will last a lifetime. It took a little while to get used to using the buttons but I prefer a manually operating watch as my hands get sweaty running because it's harder to operate using the screen which is why I chose this specific model. I recommend this watch to anyone who also has the same preferences, best on the market!

Awesome watch! I upgraded from a forerunnner 35 and it was definitely worth it. Seeing sleep and HRV data is super helpful. My only complaints are sometimes the pace takes a while to adjust on the display, as well as some skin irritation I had on the stock strap. I love that this watch has a bigger display, but still feels light and does not look bad to wear in formal settings. Battery life is insane too!
