Works great! Accurate tracking of bike rides, ice skating, hiking, and more. Great insights into heart rate and sleep patterns. I love that the face can be changed to show the data I am interested in; altitude, weather, time, steps barometric pressure, heart rate ect. Great battery life.

great for tracking my workouts. I used this to track my training for a half and a full marathon. I enjoy seeing all the statistics (like heart rate, pace, etc.) to help me improve my training. The only downside is for the "recommended runs" I couldn't figure out how to adjust my recommded pace, I typically run faster than they recommend so it would notify me which got annoying.

This is a great watch for those getting into data collection and performance, without breaking the bank. Though it's called the Forerunner, there is much more data than just for runs. Awesome data for strength lifts, yoga, etc. Also a very sleek and stylish watch. Great for a beginner looking to start utilizing data for performance improvement.

I've been using this for running this summer and it has everything I could need out of a running watch. The only determent is that the watch settings, especially the alerts are very difficult to configure and confusing to set up. You might need help from a friend or expert to get all the settings figured out!

Got this model after losing a previous forerunner that was less expensive. This upgrade has been amazing. Any activity you can think of, golf, great customizable interface, and super long battery life (weeks)

Honestly almost no complaints at all with the watch, it's been everything I've wanted and more coming from an apple watch to now this garmin it's been fantastic. The battery life is exceptional and all the running and exercise training metrics help me improve and stay on track more than anything my aplle watch ever could. This watch has helped my improve as a runner and thats not an exageration. Try not to pay too much importance to the performance score updates during your training they can get disheartening at times but just listen to your body the eatch isnt a perfect mesurement of hoe you're doing but it is definetly pretty close haha.

Made the switch to Garmin from Apple Watches after roughly 6 years, and will never go back. Battery life, health metrics, and workout tracking capabilities are all incredible.
