The best upgrade from my 245. All the muscle of the 965, without the annoying too-bright AMOLED display. When I look at my watch I can see the time... without flopping my arm around to turn it on. Never thought this would be a selling feature for a watch, but I like this so much better than the new battery-killing AMOLED watches.

I hate this watch

I just got it. I cannot get the time of day on the watch. There is no where in the minuscule book that says do this. I also tried to turn off the touchscreen but what came up on the screen doesn’t match the screen I got. Perhaps not assuming everyone knows that would be helpful.

Upgraded to the FR955 from the Venu 3 because I wanted more running stats and I am so happy I did! Using this to train for my first Marathon in April and very excited to use the routes, work out plans to help me prepare. Battery life is a game changer per usual! Couldn't be happier to have purchased this watch!

My Forerunner 945 died suddenly. I decided to go with the 955. It is a hard watch to get set up. It is very gadgety and it is hard to get rid of features that I didn’t want. I still can’t stop getting notifications of emails. It does time well. The band fits my small wrist well. If you want a watch that is a watch and activity tracker, select a different Garmin.

Not nearly as good of a battery life as it claims to be. It dies in 4 days. Claims 14 days.. must have gotten a bad batch because the heart rate sensor also has air bubble under glass.. as if a screen protector was not properly installed on a cellphone, which is an eyesore. Will be returning it unfortunately.
