Misses in noisy environments

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The comfort level of these headphones are a 10 on a 10 point scale. The highs are well defined; however, although there is some low end sound I can't hear it. The drivers do not go deep enough into my ears to hear it. I thought that these would be perfect for on the go; however, the sound was washed out in a noisy setting. As much as I wanted to love these, they didn't rate high for those reasons.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Ones

I first bought a pair that were highly rated and more expensive but they kept falling out of my ears even with adjustable ear caps. Bought this pair and I haven’t had any issues with them falling out. The sound is of good quality. I also like that you can find a dropped earbud easily with the app.

Very Good Entry Level earbuds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Vibe Beams are a very nice set of entry level earbuds. The sound is very good overall if not a little lacking in the higher end. All the JBL earbuds that I have used excel in the bass department and these are no different. Connecting them to my phone(android) was insanely easy and the JBL app is fantastic. With the app you can easily change the Ambient Sound Control, you can change the left and right earbud gestures as well. The app also has a Max Volume Limiter setting so you can protect your hearing or whoever is going to be using these. The EQ in the app is really nice and very easy to adjust the sound to your liking. It also picked up my EQ settings that I have set on my JBL Live Pro 2. I wasn't expecting that and was happy to see it. The Find my Buds is there but it is missing the Check My Best Fit that my Pros have. The battery life has been as expected, I have worn them for a full eight hours while working without an issue. The fit is good but I have noticed that they can move ever so slightly where you start to lose bass. Overall I am very happy with what these do have at this price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just got these and I absolutely love them! So much better than the AirPods I have. They stay in my ear really well which is something I always struggle with because my ears are tiny and I have both tragus’ pierced, and the sound quality is amazing! Get these you won’t regret it!

Do not buy these headphones

I’ve had these headphones for about three months and they’re the worst I’ve ever owned. It says 32 hours of battery life but that’s a blatant lie. Even when disconnected and turned off, the battery in the charging box is constantly draining, and when the charging box dies it turns on the headphones so they die as well. You have to charge them every night, don’t waste your money and go buy better headphones.

Thanks for your feedback. It is possible that the battery of your JBL Vibe Beam is losing its capacity, which may be the reason it depletes without being used. We would like to work with you directly to address the issue. Please contact us.

Still using product, but I am sure there is better

They work for the most part. I have been using the right one almost daily for a year. The left one is quieter than the right one, and I have seen another review on this site saying the same thing, so that makes me think this is a common-ish problem.
When the battery gets low there is a voice that says "BATTERY IS LOW" and it is SO LOUD. I have asked support if this low battery warning can be made quieter and they said there is no way to make the warning quieter. Scares me every time it yells in my ear "BATTERY IS LOW".
Would have looked at different options if I knew the left one wouldnt work as well as the right, and if I knew about the deafening low battery warning

We appreciate your feedback. We're here to help. The low battery notification is a fixed, unadjustable setting. This is a safety feature designed to protect battery health by preventing full depletion. Regarding the reduced volume in the left earbud, please verify the audio balance settings. This control allows you to adjust the relative volume of each earbud. Make sure the left/right balance is set to the center or default position. You can typically access this setting in the playback or equalization (EQ) settings of your music player app, or alternatively, in the JBL Headphones app. For further assistance, please contact us.

Major battery loss within a year.

The headphones had resonable battery life close to the advertised 8 hours. 10 Months later after I fully charged the headphones I ended up getting 'battery is low" messages after I used them on two 12 minute sessions. The battery shouldn't be draining when I disconnect the bluetooth and closed the case but it appears either that is happening or the battery life drastically decreaed in less than a year. Im glad I got these for free on a promo so I didn't end up wasting money.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. With TWS earbuds, charging issues are frequently caused by foreign matter on the metal charging contacts, which can include sweat, grease, earwax, and more. These issues can often be resolved by cleaning the contact points on the earbuds and the charging case. For further assistance, please contact our customer support. https://support.jbl.com/us/en

Poor fit

Would NOT stay in my ears, even when I was simply sitting in a chair and trying to talk on the phone; tried the various sizes but non fit snuggly!!!
Response from jbl.comBy Customer Support, November 21, 2025
We appreciate the feedback. To achieve the best seal and secure fit with your JBL Vibe Beam, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. To do this, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear, and continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal. If you need more help, please contact our customer support.
