I use these on my old gas stove below the grates. The stove is white porcelain, and anything that drips can be hard to clean once it dries. These are chrome plated metal, and you can remove them and clean easily. They also look nice, and are better than the disposable aluminum drip rings which can't be cleaned, so you have to keep buying more.
