Do not forget to upgrade your Ethernet cable also

I had upgraded my internet to 1 Gb, but when I installed the switch it would only run at 100 Mb. I then checked the cable run and it was only Cat 5, not 5e or 6, so it was limited the speed. Replaced the cable and now I am able to use the full speed promised.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worked as expected

After I plugged this hub ("switch") into an AC outlet, there was no setup needed to split my Internet connection to a number of PCs. I especially liked that this 8 port hub was smaller than the 5 port hub that it replaced, so I didn't have to build a new enclosure mount this unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Reliable Switch

Really a good 8 port switch. I have 3 of these and they work great, never had issues.
I am able to max out gigabit speeds over these between 2 machines.
I like the metal body that makes it sturdy and it has earthing point on the back.
I would recommend this to a friend!
