No temperature control or timer. Have used once.
Can't see food without lifting lid. This will take some adjusting as am used to a glass top.

Works better then my gas stove

This is an awesome appliance to have in your kitchen. It stores in a fairly small area, the plate size is large enough to do at least four pieces of bread at a time. It’s great for grilled cheese and quesadillas especially. Highly recommend this product.
