The suction strength is lacking. Even at full power. If using full power the battery runs out quickly. It’s okay for quick in between cleaning. I do like that it is easy to take apart for cleaning.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Vacuum is unsatisfactory for picking up dog hair, small items on carpet. Requested refund but past 30 day option and only if part malfunctioning. Overall, vacuum just doesn't work well. Not worth the money. Stick with Dyson brand.

I was looking for something to replace my LG stick vacuums which wore out due to rock dust in my last home. This unit contains a power floor head and so far has not gotten clogged up with my hair and my Bernese Mountain Dog’s fur. I was looking for a long handled paint brush to clean the inside of the canister, but found the narrow tool with the extendable brush does the trick nicely. The small pet roller works best on stairs or hard to reach places.
Where I am staying is mostly hardwoods but has a small area rug. The brush head tends to swivel too much, but if you roll it slowly, minimizes it. Would not recommend for homes with a lot of carpet. If they want to make it more compatible with carpet, they would likely have to change the design of the floor head to be less maneuverable and heavier which would be a trade off in my mind.
I do like how it stands on its own either with or without the extension tube, no bulky place to find to store and charge it.
So far, have not run the battery out in this 1000 square foot apartment.
Purchased directly from Levoit, was on sale and able to use a professional discount. Far more affordable than my previous stick vac and any others I was considering (Electrolux and Miele).
I have two labs who constantly shed. This vacuum is a game changer. I use it nearly every day. I’m obsessed with it. I can vacuum my 2700 square foot home on one battery charge (mid setting) and it has great suction. I have hardwood floors with a few area rugs. It is so light and so much easier to use than lugging around my corded upright. I love the headlamp, and the roller brush works great even on my rugs. I have a rug with a varied pile and this vacuum gets the dog hair and dust out of it without getting the fibers wrapped around the roller brush like my upright. I can even get entirely under some of my furniture (like the coffee table) with this vacuum, something my upright, or even a robot vac, cannot do. The upholstery tool does great on furniture and the vacuum is so light and easy to use with the attachments. I love the crevice tool for vacuuming around baseboards, up in the corners, behind furniture. The only thing I would change is to put a small light somewhere at the top where the canister is, because if you are using the crevice tool with the long arm attachment, you can’t see the area you are vacuuming. I don’t know why I waited so long to get one!
I don’t know how I’ve ever lived without a cordless vacuum. I was looking for a new vacuum and didn’t want another canister vacuum. A friend owns a Levoit and had me come over and test it out. I was amazed by how much dirt and dust it got off the floor. I didn’t hesitate to buy a Levoit and I’m so happy that I did. I live in a one-bedroom apartment and this is perfect for my needs. I. I can usually get all four rooms vacuumed on one charge. I would rather do anything other than vacuum. But the Levoit is so lightweight I run it over my floors every other day. I’m really happy with this purchase.
