Best vacuum ever!

As someone who’s generally had roommates and shared cleaning supplies, it finally came time for my first ever OWN upright vacuum—I’d been surviving off of a handheld one for too long and finally realized I ought to invest in something for my large area rug. I thought my handheld vacuum was doing an okay job… WRONG! The amount of dirt and hair that came out of my carpet with the LVAC-300 was embarrassing 😭
Turns out, my rug was the perfect color to conceal set-in debris, and the LVAC-300 picked up enough for me to empty it several times over, all when I thought my rug wasn’t that dirty from the handheld 🥲 I love the three modes! I do a full pass or two in Eco mode, switch to Mid until very little debris is picked up, then finally finish off in Turbo, which is almost too powerful for my rug! Mid does great though; Turbo barely picked up any more than Mid, and Mid saves so much battery! I’ve used it several times over and still have half a charge left—enough to do the entire deep clean process on my rug two or three times! I love that it stands up on its own, too, and no hair gets stuck in the brushroll. It’s so light that I just pull it out, vacuum, tuck it away, and forget!
It did a great job cleaning up enough dirt and hair for me to run the carpet cleaner over the rug after. The rug feels brand new! Who knew cleaning could be so easy and satisfying? Thank you, Levoit, for creating the perfect vacuum! And when it’s on sale, too, it feels like a steal. Get yours today!

This vacuum is a great little vacuum for quick cleanups it works great on carpet, wood floor, and tile. I love that it lays flat to clean under my sofa and that it stands on its own. The dust bin is so easy to remove, empty, and reattach.

Didn't Meet Expectations

After my cordless Dyson (no idea what model it was - it was purchased in 2016) broke for the third time I decided to upgrade to something more reliable. I own several other small appliances from Levoit and I have been very pleased with all of them, so when I saw that they make vacuums I decided to give the 300 model a shot.
Overall I am happy with the way this vacuum performs on my hardwoods and area rugs, but there are a few things I'm not thrilled with:
1. I find that the lack of storage for the attachments (whether on the vacuum itself or on a separate dock) and the charging cord are way more disappointing that I would've previously thought. The Dyson, which I feel is a gimmicky piece of crap, has a wall-mounted dock for charging and attachment storage. It was so convenient to simply attach the vacuum to the dock with one hand to simultaneously charge it and keep it tidy.
2. I am also not super impressed with the power of the suction. There are times when smaller elements are not picked up - even with 2 or more passes in turbo mode.
Overall I would stop short of recommending this vacuum to a friend, but I am not sure if these inconveniences are worth trying to return it and start the hunt again.

This vacuum does an amazing job picking up dirt, dust, and pet hair. It doesn’t leave stuff behind and works really well on floors — honestly, the suction is great.
The downside is the battery life. It only lasts about 8 minutes in real use, which is very short. You have to stop and recharge before you can finish cleaning, and that gets frustrating.
Overall, great performance, but the battery life really needs improvement.
