This is my third OttLite purchase, this time to replace an earlier model of the floor light which was damaged by movers in a recent move. I decided to upgrade to this version, and I'm glad I did. The LED illumination is great for my use (sewing and quilting) and I especially love the lit magnifier. Although I already have an older table version, it's nice to have the option to convert this to a table light if I would like.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I used this lamp on 4 Cross Stitch kits with no issues. Had it in a closet for a few years and pulled it out to work on another Cross Stitch. After using it for a month the Magnifying Light just snapped off. I really love this lamp but after reading some of the reviews I'm hesitant on getting another one as a replacement.

I bought this when I moved into my new home. I was very excited & couldn't wait to set up my new sewing room. When I took the lamp out of the box all the parts were there As I put it together I followed all of the directions exactly, however the part that the actual lamp plugs into with a dowel in order to use it as a floor lamp was created upside down so I cannot use it as a floor lamp. (The top of part B is made so that it is impossible to insert the dowel unless the top of part B is disassembled. Then the dowel fits but the top of part B cannot be reassembled to the pole.)This is very upsetting. This product is now useless to me and I am extremely frustrated. What a waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stand as floor lamp does not work!

Lamp cannot be assembled correctly as floor lamp. Clip lamp device is flimsy. NOT the OTTLITE quality I thought I was getting. Please help me get the updated adapter I hear in other reviews so I can use my lamp
