I grabbed this as soon as I saw it was out because my kids love all of the Barbie Movies. However, this was unlike any other Barbie movie. I do expect all the movies to be the same, but this movie did not capture my kids attention. They barely made it through the first half hour. We will def be hoping the next one is 10x better!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Got this for my little sister, and we both enjoyed it! n__n It's a cute and fun movie, albeit a little light on the storyline. We loved the character designs, and Barbie was pretty cool being a videogame developer. Also for being a fan of games, i liked the way they explained basic game terminology (i.e. NPC, code) and the way basic aspects of videogames were all incorporated into the plot. An enjoyable film overall, recommended for at least 7 and up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Even the community, which is the Axl Gallais community, loves it!
