[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Black and Decker Variable Control Compact Steam Iron gets the job done at a great price point while still providing the features that you need.
The nonstick plate makes ironing a breeze, and steam gets those wrinkles out fast.
This iron has made a great addition to my sewing and craft room!

Perfect for my sewing projects!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this iron would work perfect for my sewing projects and I was right; it has actually worked better than I thought it would! My fabrics I cut after my patterns I iron before sewing together have required less ironing time; I've noticed that with this iron my fabric tends to not wrinkle as it has with some of my other irons. Considering the price with the features this iron has it's a great investment that has saved me time and I couldn't be happier with it.

I wanted a simple, no-frills iron without a lot of the "bells and whistles" that can jack up the price. This is perfect. Variable garment (heat) settings, steam or no steam, and simple and easy to use. Very happy with it.

A simple yet powerful iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it comes to irons, I look for simplicity, and this iron provides all the features I want in an easy-to-use, well-designed appliance! I was impressed by the design of this iron as soon as I took it out of the box. It's sleek and super lightweight and fits comfortably in my hand-- but it's still heavy enough to get the job done. The controls are easy to understand, and the water-fill chamber is no trouble to fill. The dial makes selecting the perfect setting for various fabrics easy as well. During my very first use, I was able to steam and spray-mist like a pro. For everyday ironing, it does the job with no fuss. The iron is compact and lightweight enough for travel, too. I usually put my iron away when I'm done using it, but the blue and white color scheme is so pretty, I'm tempted to leave this one out. Great appliance!

Compact Iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this iron. First thing I noticed when i opened the box was how light weight this iron is compared to the one i had used in the past. It is so easy to use, it heats quickly and works perfect. It's easy grip handle and with its advanced technology to glide smooth over the fabric without getting stuck it helps to get those wrinkles out! It has adjustable temperature controls and comes with a guide on what settings to use with most fabrics. Overall its a great iron and i recommend it to everyone.
