This is not a piano, it's a keyboard. It does not have semi-weighted keys. The sound drivers are sub-par as that of a toy keyboard and the resonance is not anywhere near that of a keyboard, let alone a digital piano.
Piano itself works well. There is no assembly instruction at all. Where do the straps go? Which holes do the bolts go in? There are 2 sets. What is to keep the keyboard from sliding off, since it only sits on top of the trestle leg stand with no real attachment? I worry that a child will knock it off, and the weight of the keyboard will topple the whole thing. In addition, a child could then get tangled in the straps.
We love this piano. I now live in a situation where the volume of an acoustic piano would be too intrusive to others, so we got this one in order to use headphones. We are extremely pleased with it. Granted, we are back to being "beginners" so we're not needing a concert quality sound, but for our playing this piano has beautiful sound.
This keyboard is a very good value for the money and is fine for my needs: site reading a lot of music to keep my aging brain working. However the pedal is so light weight it's difficult to kerp it still under my foot and the key action is only mediocre. But, again, for the low cost, and my use of it, I am very happy with this product. Also, it was delivered much sooner than expected and was very well packaged for shipping.
