[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had our robot lawn mower for over a year now with over an acre of lawn. Like any mower it works best with sharp blades and kept clean of gummed up grass clippings. The 4G positioning mode works flawlessly. Our lawn has some steep slopes and rough ground which the robot handles very well. I can't imagine going back to a regular mower.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using for the last month on a half acre lot with extremely steep hills. This mower handles grades that are almost a 90 degree slope in spots
Love the lines does great on the large sections of the yard. Has issues cutting the smaller section of my yard. Tends to leave small chunks uncut.
Wish the app was a bit more user friendly. I find myself spending a lot of time searching for how to adjust the cut pattern and or make designs. Know this is just a software change and update I hope to see a more user friendly app control.
Very pleased with the overall product and reliability so far. Only had it for 4 months.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this LUBA II I think in April, but didn't get it going until around the end of May. I love this mower. I have a steep hill and a few deep holes, and Luba negotiates them as if they were not obstacles at all. It is nice to be able to change the patterns of the mowing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned for over a year. My yard at the lake is the worse of the worst. Steep, rocks, stumps, soft spots. The performance is great. They are constantly upgrading, which is as well noticeable in the performance. It can sometimes struggle a little with soft ground or newly planted areas. But it is quick to change maps and schedules to accommodate. My only complaint is that it can sometimes fall just outside of the mapped zone because of how difficult my yard is. It only lets you manually control via Bluetooth - so you can’t put it back in the zone. I understand why they don’t let you remote over wifi, but all you would need most times is 5-10 seconds to jog it 2 feet back into the mapped portion. This is mostly avoidable with some extra thought to your mapping.
I purchased Luba at the end of May and started to use it early in June. I've been very pleased with the general quality of the mowing and how it has lessened my work to a short period of trimming and touch up. It's been a quiet worker while I water flowers and do pruning. I've had only one instance where it became entangled in some vines - I can depend on it to work effectively, and any maintainance has been easily completed. I really appreciate the option of changing the "cut" patterns for a tailored look. My only concern is the inability to easily "edit" the perimeters. It would be nice to be able to do "point to point" straight lines on the map itself as opposed to guiding the mower manually.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Luba 2X AWD on Black Friday sale and so glad I did. No more waiting around for the lawn care guy to cut my grass. I mow the lawn now when I want, how I want.
