There are no holes for the sponge holder side, so water will just accumulate there and get gross. Just get the dispenser without the caddy.

Looks and works as expected for NOW

I use this for hand soap, I'm not happy with the recent purchases since when the rechargeable battery dies you toss the unit. I wonder the longevity for this unit. I sure wish these were serviceable for simple replacement parts. My last purchase if this dies, especially a few weeks after warranty is over.

Sensitive sensor!

This pump & caddy stand is very attractive, but the soap sensor is so sensitive, it’ ejects soap if your hand is anywhere near it. Makes cleaning around it or reaching for something nearby difficult. Same remark for the liquid soap sensor pump.
