One tough mudder.

Ive had this phone for years, beat it up, mistreated it, normal real life scenarios, heck the kids lost it in the pond and we had to call it to find it, seen and heard it under water, after pulling it out I answered it, worked fine dried it with my T shirt put it in my pocket and 4 years later it still works. Absolutely the toughest phone Ive ever seen.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, water proof @ 2ft for 15 minutes maybe more
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the durability & most everything, but...

I wanted durability, and I got it! My main use for any cell is for text, and the T9 on this phone just plain doesn't fit the bill. There is no predictive text. You can add words to your t9 dictionary; however, if you accidentally create a word you do not want, there is no way to delete that word from the dictionary. I accidentally created a word 'CV', so everytime I try to input the word 'at', 'CV' pops up 1st, and I have to change it to 'at'. Such a simple addition to this phone would have made it much better. It is the only thing that is really starting to make me hate this phone. Owned a Sony prior to this & their t9 options were top of the line...
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: no t9 dictionary delete, no t9 predictive text option

You Can Tell The Samsung Rugby II Was Built Right! Very Heavy Duty!!!

The Samsung Rugby II is great! It’s Very Easy To Use & Very Durable! Other phones you drop them the back flies one way and the battery goes another! I love the locking back! You can just tell this phone was built right! Samsung didn’t cut any corners or use cheap parts!!! Heavy Duty!!! But Not Heavy!!!

this is the first new cell phone I have purchased in several years, and there is nothing about this product I don't like. It has great features, easy to use and a very reasonable price. It took me a long time to give up my old phone, but I have not been sorry for one minute. The Rugby has a ring that is easy to hear since I am older and need a louder ringtone, the features are simple to learn and understand. I will be keeping this phone for quite a long time.

Phone gets very poor signal reception! Now I am stuck with it for 2 years!
Pros: Durable

I want a phone that will hold up and has a long battery life I know it has a long batery life and it feels like it will hold up it is easy to use and works well
