I like the loop at the top

I've been using a Rugby phone for about 3 years and just changed over to a Rugby II. I especially like the loop at the top (not shown in the photo) - I use a string through the loop which hangs out of the narrow pocket on the leg of my carpenter jeans, making access very easy. Once I washed my phone in the clothes washer... took it apart and hung the pieces over my a/c vent for 2 days, then put it back together and recharged - worked perfectly. Broke the hinge - super-glued it back together and it worked perfectly for another 8 months. Only drawback is that I keep pushing the PTT button accidentally and have to reject it... I may super-glue the button so it doesn't work but would prefer if there were software that disables it.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable
Cons: can't turn off ptt function
I would recommend this to a friend!

This product seems to be great for the outdoorsman

It seems to do most of what other "smart phones" will, with limitations and will survive the inviroments to boot!
I'm a truck driver, so my phone takes a beating. I'm not a high tec type of person so this phone fits me perfectly. I've had this phone for a year now and its easy to use and very rugged without all the extras I don't need. so if you want a phone thats takes a beating and is easy to use, this is the one for you.
Pros: Durable
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like flip phones because I work in a busy hospital. I need a phone that can take a lot of impact. This phone has been great so far. I have dropped it several times and it has not failed yet. It is a little quirky to get to some features but over all it is a great phone.
Pros: Durable
Cons: quirky menu options
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awesome Buy

I bought this product for my dad about 6 months ago, he is 77 years old and needs a fairly rugged phone because he still goes out on the tractor and does what he calls work and I call play. Either way, this phone has survived being sweaty, dropped from a tractor, covered in dust and the fumbling large fingers of an old mechanic/farmer.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, large keys, loud
I would recommend this to a friend!
