rOUGH ON PHONES.

I bought this phone because it was all I neeeded, and it was designed study. For the first few hours that i had it I dropped it from up to six feet. No chips, no cracks, and still functioning clearly and loud enough on speaker for me to keep working. I am going to enjoy this phon much more then my last one with the cracked display, flickering ang going completely out at the worst time.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, easy touse and setup
Cons: Not high def
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like the multiple shortcut options, a must, with so many different features on the phone. Wish the icons were easier to read, and not monotone colors.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight

Great minus the PTT button

Overall, the Rugby is easy to use. I specifically like its interface, as well as the camera, voice recorder, and the ability to upload/download media via USB.
It is sometimes difficult to hear the folks on the other end, but sound quality is OK. You cannot change very many settings on the mini display.
The worst aspect of this phone is the PTT function. **This appears to be a plot between the manufacturer and wireless providers to frustrate customers.** The PTT button, located "conveniently" on the side of the phone, is easily accidentally pressed. It asks you if you want to initiate it and pay more money. No. What's worse is that you cannot disable it or change the otherwise convenient button's function.
What we're left with is a very hardy, versatile phone with an Achilles heel.

Cons: ptt button

Tough as nails

I'm not known for being nice to my phones, and this takes my lack of care in stride.
It also opens easily with one hand.

Great phone, rugged and durable. Had an intial issue, however Samsung stood behind product and support was quick to repair and exceptionally helpful.

Battery stinks

I have this phone for a few months. At first the phone held a great charge it would go for (4) days without charging. Now I can't even go a day or so. Today the battery died and I charged it to full charge and it didn't even last 3 hours. I am going to take it to the At&t store tomorrow and see if they will resolve this issue. I also have a close friend that got one when I got mine and he is having the same problem.
