Samsung!! you need to fix this phone! the text messaging doesn't work correctly. I have had three of these phones so far and they have all done the same. The texts are not sent the first time, they are put into the outbox and have to be re-sent. Very frustrating! Because of this i am now getting a different make and model, i have no choice. fix the texting issue and i would buy another tomorrow.
Pros: Durable
Cons: texting

Best Phone Ever!!

We are so pleased with this phone. Very rugged and durable. Numbers are easy to see. Great phone for the over 50 set!! So clear when talking to another person.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worst phone I have ever had !
Need too much time going thru menu after menu to do simple things.
PC Software is the same thing. Log on and connect to phone takes way to many steps (IF you even can connect to it)
If I plug the phone in to the computer I have to tell both the phone and computer I wan to connect !!??
Why would I plug the two into each other If I DID NOT WANT TO CONNECT ???
How stupid can this software be ?
I have yet to explore all the stupid menus and their 1000 layers to even guess how dumb this phone really is....
Worst phone ever described this phone to the "T" !!!!
Owners manual is just as ridiculous, How do you connect to the phone to the computer ?, It tells you “connect to the phone”…. That is SOOOOO much help….

I've had it about four months. I love it, as I have my previous samsung phones. It does everything I need.

This phone has too many features that I would like disabled and the settings has no option for disabling unwanted features, I have no use for any internet or pay per use options and every button on this phone tries to run my bill up.I would up for an easier to use phone if any were available this is my 5th samsung phone and the hardest to use I have ever seen, will look for a different brand next time.
Cons: too many pay per use options

Rugged but PTT enables too much & display is POOR

The PTT button is always hit first for me & I do not use PTT. The inside display is poor to below average. I text very little but this phone makes texting a REAL chore. I do like the battery life, sound, durability & good for use just as a cell phone with no frills.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Durable
Cons: Not high def, Did not meet expectations

i have had 2 of the first gens of this phone. the only problem ive had with them is the hing cracked. the last one i had was dropped into a very large compressor oil tank that still had 22 plus gallons of compressor fluid in the tank. sat in the tank over night and after we drained the tank it still worked. by that time we had already got a new one thinking it would be dead. while it was in the tank i recived a text and a phone call. when i opened up the back of it there wasnt much for oil in the battery compartment of the phone. i was able to get all pics off my memery card and all my numbes off the phone memory. been a good phone over all.
Pros: Durable, good camra
Cons: not loud enough ringer.
I would recommend this to a friend!
