Does not have repeating alerts for missed calls and voice messages

I find this extremely frustrating. If I miss a call because I didn't hear the phone, I would like the phone to send an alert every minute or so to let me know that I've not only missed a call, but also have received a voice message. All the phones I have had for the last 15 years would do this. Why would they remove this feature? This phone is full of bloatware, but basic telephone features are missing.
Pros: Durable
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no missed call repeating alerts

Great for a truck driver. Loud ringer, excellent speaker phone and fits easily into pants pocket.

This phone is rugged but it doesn't support a lot of the pc sync applications through the pc software.
Also, you cannot sync the phone to the pc while you have a bluetooth earset connected. This poses a functionality problem if you sync to your pc and have to make a call.
I think that there could be a better option offered.
Pros: Durable
Cons: Did not meet expectations, doesn't support all the apps available through the, pc sync software, can't use sync and bluetooth together

This my only phone I use it continually. The sound quality is great ( my only grip is that the mike pickup is too sensitive and that I need to be a little careful where I hold the phone).
I do not need a smart phone so this really fine.
I drop the phone off a ladder about 16 feet off the ground,
it fell on concrete and the fall did not hurt it..

SGH-A847 Rugby II phone will not connect to any PC

All Windows based computers will label the Samsung New PC Studio as 'a dangerous software that will harm your computer'. This is not true, of course, but it means that Samsung hasn't obtained certification from Microsoft for Samsung's softwares. I have two computers, one with Windows 7 64 bit, the other with Windows Vista 32 bit. When you connect the phone via USB the computers will try to find the Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM drivers in "Windows Update", but the drivers are not there.
Therefore, the Samsung New PC Studio will not be able to detect the phone and the 'massive storage' feature on the phone can not be used.
Samsung must resolve this connectivity issue with this phone as soon as possible. Please.
