This is a bit of a strange product because most of the parts are unusable with the eSwap S controller, which is the new-ish version of this controller from Thrustmaster. If you have the S model you cannot replace the side grips or the triggers. The box also comes with a few stickers that are clearly meant to be put on the PS5 touchpad; the box is branded Xbox so I'm not sure why those would be included at all.
Another issue is that the product doesn't come with a tool to remove the modules. This tool is provided with the eSwap X controller but is NOT included with the S model. If you have an S model you will have to rig up your own tool for removing the button module. It's pretty easy to remove the (plastic) d-pad replacement module without a tool, though.
If you have the eSwap S model, this box is basically the button module and a bunch of stuff for the garbage bin. The provided d-pad module is worse than the S model's d-pad but I guess is good to have if the d-pad starts to fail.
At the end of the day, the button module is good and the buttons work great but I wish I could buy just that module and not have to waste money creating literal garbage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
