Looks great, does not feel good in hand

i have gotten samsung made cases with my s6 and s8 before and they were great, but this is my first soft plastic case from them and it does not feel great in the hand at all, it feels sticky at times and just ruins the experience of using such a great phone. the case does fit really well but i do not know if its because of the case or not but it statically attracts dust like crazy on the outer edges of the case. i think samsung needs to go back to the drawing board for their clear non hard plastic cases.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

nice looking and bad smelling (for first few days) case - overall - its an okay case. lost its 2 stars as it provides almost negligible phone protection.

i was very glad to see samsung finally has a clear case. this is the only clear case you need. of course it fits perfectly and the color of the phone shines through. unlike the cheaper clear cases, this one keeps its grip on the sides. i've used numerous cheap clear cases on previous samsung phones and they've felt cheap or got slippery after use. this is my go-to case for sure!

Terrible smell

I received the new phone with clear cover and been pretty happy with the look and feel. The biggest negative about the clear samsung cover, is that it has a terrible chemical smell to it. it's so bad others have complained about it as well in presence of phone. I tried airing it out and washing it but the odor is overwhelming and will not keep the cover.

overall the case isn't bad for protection, the material is not great for providing grip when trying to use the phone which is one of the main reasons i use a case. but most importantly i've had the case for 5 days now and i have tried cleaning it and letting it air out, nothing seems to work. the smells is terrible and even when setting on my night stand my wife and i can both still smell it. i'd like to exchange it for a different type of case at this point.

this is a better phone in many ways than the s20. its switches between networks flawlessly, my s20 had issues. wireless share charging comes in very handy, and this phone detects the device to be charged a lot better than before. it seems quicker overall, but the face recognition seems to have improved, the speed and accuracy of the face scan is much better than previous model. the fingerprint scan is the same, it has trouble reading with tempered glass installed on screen but gets the jobs done, and turning on the screen protector sensitivity didnt help much. the camera has lots of options and filters. the video recording is excellent as always. this phone is hundreds cheaper than the s20 was at launch, and its better. that is a rare thing. i am very satisfied with my s21 5g. .

just got my s21. i love that is affordable & i'm able to see my phone ❤ i like that it's comfortable to hold in the hand and it's not wobbly/flimsy like others.
