Garmin smart watch

I really like the smart watch that I purchased. I don’t think I’m using all of the features, that are available. Because I’m an older lady, 85 years old, I would like to have some type of an emergency alert connected to this watch. Is there anyway I can do that.

So far this is the most accurate and enjoyable smartwatch I’ve ever owned! I’ve had several different smartwatches and most have little battery life compared to the Garmin Venu 3S. It’s appearance and bright easy to read graphs are what makes it stand out from other brands! With a 5-10 day battery life to help keep track of your sleep patterns and daily exercise , I would definitely recommend this watch!

From Fitbit to Garmin - a whole new world

I switched to the Garmin Venu 3S after years with Fitbit, and honestly, I’m SO glad I did. The health and fitness tracking feels way more advanced and accurate, especially for running, recovery, heart rate, sleep, and overall training readiness. As someone training for HYROX and focusing more intentionally on performance, this watch has been a game changer.
The battery life alone is incredible compared to other smartwatches. I’m not constantly charging it, which makes it so much more useful for sleep tracking and long training days. The metrics are detailed without feeling overwhelming, and I love how customizable everything is.
I was worried Garmin would feel too “hardcore athlete” for everyday use, but the Venu 3S balances fitness and lifestyle perfectly. It looks sleek enough to wear daily while still giving serious training insights.
Also, the Body Battery feature basically knows me better than I know myself at this point 😂
If you’re someone who wants more than just step counting and wants real insight into your health, recovery, and fitness progress, I’d 100% recommend the Venu 3S.

I’m extremely satisfied with this smartwatch. The design is beautiful, lightweight, and very comfortable to wear all day. The health and fitness tracking features are accurate and easy to use, and the battery life is excellent. I also really like the display quality and how smoothly everything works. It has become part of my daily routine, whether for workouts, sleep tracking, or notifications. Definitely one of the best tech purchases I’ve made recently!

The Garmin Venu 3S offers strong fitness tracking, a vibrant display, and reliable battery life, but it is held back by significant technical flaws. The voice assistant is essentially non-functional due to known software glitches and persistent "connection failed" errors that Garmin has yet to fix. Furthermore, while the phone call feature works, the speaker volume is far too low, forcing you to hold the watch directly up to your ear to hear anything. Given these software and hardware limitations, it fails to deliver on its promise as a true smartwatch.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
