I bought this about a month ago and I am so glad that I did. I have always been an Apple Watch girly, but was reading reviews that the Garmin is better for exercise tracking. The reviews couldn’t have been more correct. I now realize Apple Watch is just a smart phone on your wrist whereas the Garmin does exactly what you wanted to do. Tracks my steps, tracks, my workouts, check my heart rate, tracks my sleep, and tells me the different sleep categories that I was in the night before. It’s been so helpful and such a blessing and I am so thankful that I purchased it.

This isn't about the watch, it's fine, as is my Forerunner. The review is about the Garmin update that deleted all my historical info. My wife and I use these watches to monitor ongoing health issues, and they have been very effective for that. Today when I hooked up my wife's watch it said we needed an update to Garmin Express. I ran it. When it was done it no longer showed our old account, which of course contains all our historical data that we share with our doctors. Now we are starting today with nothing. This sucks. Some of that data was 2+ years old and it's gone. Thanks a lot Garmin.

I like the features but haven't truly used many of them yet as I've only had the watch for a short time. I am a bit disappointed in that the battery life isn't quite what it was described to be. Once I start using the features, I'm nervous that I'll be back to charging my watch (almost) daily, which was the main reason I switched to Garmin so I wouldn't have to worry about charging it so frequently.
