Better than Apple

I bought this watch to replace my Apple Watch because of the battery dying and the activity reports being inferior. I love that the garmin has better activity tracking and more detailed features. I wish the garmin activity connected with apple health to share with my friends. The only other thing I would change is the fact that my alarms don’t sync with my phone alarms so I cannot silence them from my watch like I could on my Apple Watch.

I am on my third week back on Garmin and love the look of the watch and all its features. I use it for hiking, running, padel, tennis, workouts, and walking.

Love this watch. I replaced a Vivoactive 5 which I liked. This Venu has better battery life and although similar, I like this watch better.

Better than expected!

I have only had this for a couple weeks so I am still getting used to the functions. Slightly disappointed that the vibration for the alarm is not as strong as my last competitor’s tracker. I did have to order a longer band in order to fit without a mark. It is harder to count steps than my last tracker but mowing grass does not count steps pushing my mower. I will need to head to the forums to figure out how to get credit for that. Otherwise the watch is great and has so many different levels to track and review. Overall I am satisfied with it and hope there can be updates to the issues I have via a software update.

Wish it had cellular GPS!

I enjoy it, but I for the price I wish it had cellular GPS. I hate the short distance it stays connected to phone, when my Apple Watch states connected miles away.

I've had this watch for over a year and it's truly an upgrade from my vivoactive. I enjoy being able to respond to calls and text messages on my watch. The connectivity between the phone and watch for calls could however be improved, it would also be great to be able to add a cellular service in the future. Battery life is great, possibly my favourite feature, Im very active (5 days a week 40 mins) and the battery lasts for at least 7days. One thing I miss from older models is being able to skip music on Spotify, I'd like to see some changes that enable that again even if through the notification bar.
