Unlike Apple or Samsung, battery lasts 10 times longer. Nice screen and bright colors.

VENU S3 is amazing!

I use the VENU S3 as someone who runs two to three times a week, goes to the gym twice a week, and golfs once a week. Fantastic watch for all of these activities. Very comfortable to wear and has a user friendly interface that is easy to understand.

Upgrade from previous Garmin watch

I was looking for a watch that had both solid health and activity features and landed on the Venu 3 as a happy medium. After 2 months of wearing it I feel like I prefer the Venu 3s much more than my previous Vivoactive. It works well on outdoor activities, but can get complicated when using indoor training platforms. You will benefit from buying the HRM Pro Plus if you plan to not wear it during a work out of if you use Zwift. The health and sleep features all seem pretty accurate. I rarely have to adjust the sleep data. The calls and music features work well and the activity options are extensive. The battery life is awesome for the amount of work outs I track on it. The current issue I have with it is more of a sensor and software problem with the new naps feature. It constantly says I'm taking naps during the day while doing focused reading and there is no way to delete them. I contacted Garmin about this issue and they said it is something they are working on. Smaller issue though for the great features you do get.

Great Apple Watch replacement

This watch, specifically the 3rd generation, offers so many great features that helps bridge the gap between the Apple Watch and Garmin. Receive and reply to texts, answer calls, all with a reasonable battery life of 5-10 days in full use mode. The new resolution on the screen is a welcomed change as well. I'm pretty anti-bezel. So my only change for the next generation is a smaller bezel.

Nice in-between fitness/smartwatch

My other 2 watches are a Fenix 3 and Samsung Galaxy active. The Samsung only lasted 5 yrs while my Fenix is still going strong. I wanted another Garmin but something I could use as a smartwatch and fitness tracker with a low profile to also wear out. This watch does everything Including the compass. I do wish you could speak into the watch and have it transcribe your voice for text replies versus drop menu of replies BUT all in all,very happy with the "best of both worlds" with this watch from Garmin.

The watch has a great battery life and super nice trackers. I like that I can see texts and other notifications on it. Having HRV and Blood oxygen monitoring is nice. As a climber, I really love that you can track climbing using the watch. Generally, I like it a lot and am excited to continue exploring the different features (I got the watch 3 weeks ago). Definitely check the features each watch has from Garmin before picking out which one you want.

Great even on a very small wrist!

I've always wanted a Garmin watch, but was very physically uncomfortable with every style I had tried on ( I have a very narrow wrist and the large faces would sit oddly and/ or put pressure on my bones) this watch has been extremely comfortable, low profile and not catching on things during my month-long Wilderness EMT training, and has all the great tech benefits that I am still learning more / better ways to use. Very happy!
