Glad I made the switch from Samsung!

My husband bought me this watch as a gift for graduation. I was beyond impressed with the battery life. My old watch was having to be charges every 30 hours. With my Venu S with the same level of notifications and alerts turned on, I have to charge it after day 7. Did you read that...DAY 7. My only feedback....I would love to see the app have a battery meter so when charging you can tell when it's fully charged. Any other flaw is not a flaw but a preference and I have made adjustments. I absolutely love this watch!!! Worth it!

Great watch except for golf

We've been using this watch for about a month. Love it as a fitness watch. The display is awesome. Many great features too. However, my husband (who has a new Venue 3) and I have had multiple issues on the golf course. Neither watch gives real-time distance to the green while playing. And about half the time doesn't give shot distance. Sometimes if we swipe to the next hole or the previous hole we can get it to work. But not always. But then if by chance, it is measuring your shot, you lose that as you swipe to a different hole. It's very frustrating. We went to the Garmin service center and we were told that this is a known issue that the techs are working on. Hoping they get it resolved very soon as his Vivoactive 5 and my Venue 2 worked great on the golf course.

Great phone feature. Easy to use and no one has noticed I’m on the watch vs the actual phone. Also the battery life is long. 7 days wearing it 24/7.

I purchased this about a month ago to replace a FitBit that wouldn't hold a charge. This is my second Garmin - the first was a VivoActive 3. The battery life on these is amazing, their battery management is outstanding. Since my last Garmin, the software has made some major improvements - exercise detail, sleep detail, body battery are fantastic! The clarity of the screen is amazing too - and all of this only requires a once per week charging.

I had been a Fitbit user for 10years and with the changes in their platform decided to switch to the Garmin and I was not disappointed! The watch is very sturdy and fashionable, the display is amazing and it has soooo many features. The App collects all your data too. I am so glad I made the switch!

Love my Venu

I have been wearing a Garmin watch for 30 plus years. Have had at least 5 of the different models and have always loved them. Switched from fit bit because back then, they were only water resistant and Garmin was water proof. As I like to swim as well as walk, that was important. Next month I will be 75 and still enjoy getting the vibration letting me know I am passed 10,000 steps and often get to 20,000 in a day. Love my new Venu and how easy it was to install the watch.

I have been an apple watch user for the last 7 years, and decided to make the change to the Garmin this year, and I have no regrets! My favorite part is that I don't have to charge my watch everyday nor do I have to worry about it dying before the end of the day. It gives much more in-depth details which is awesome, and round face is so stylish. The ONLY minor complaint that I miss is that I can't ping my phone to find it when I so often misplace it!
