I bought this because Dr recommended it as a more budget friendly option for helping me, hopefully, pinpoint any issues that's be coming from heart or lungs before more expensive tests. So far, I have learned a lot about my health in this regard. And, I have been learning a lot about how to use the watch. So far, good experience.
The band that it comes with is small for my wrist and had to upgrade already. But it does stay charged longer then the other brands still learning the watch but basically a no frills watch so far. Issue is that I have an iPhone and do not get any messages through it but sometimes can get a call. Same price as an Apple Watch but battery last longer
I’ve had my Venu 3 for a little over a month now. I LOVE IT!! The battery life is unbeatable. Coming from an Apple Watch where the battery wouldn’t last a full day, to the Garmin, where the battery lasts weeks at a time speaks for itself. It has more workout tracking features and its ease of use is a great touch. I love how I can track my workout, separate my sets and it counts the reps fairly well. On the connect app it will show you what you did without putting it in. It’s almost like it’s a smart watch. 10 out of 10 would recommend to a friend. The price is a little steep, but it is soo worth it.
I DO enjoy my Venu 3 with all the sensors. I have had AFIB events, so I monitor myself by using the Garmin watch. I came from using Fitbits and Apple Watches, but they became un-reliable and their batteries had to be charged DAILY (…or just failed!!). It has been GREAT, NOT having to worry about the battery in the Garmin Watch!!
While I’m “reviewing”, I had an Epic Pro for a period of time and found it to a TERRIFIC watch with all the features that I needed or wanted, but (At my age and position…. retired) I found it too large and too powerful for my needs. BUT…. there was one feature that the Epic had that I would like on ALL my future watches!!…. the LED flashlight !! Our Son has an Epic, also, and uses the flashlight constantly!! Who would have thunk…. a flashlight in a watch…. WOW!!…. what a TERRIFIC IDEA !!
The one in the Venu 3 doesn’t have the power that the Epic has…. I miss that flashlight in the Epic!!! PLEASE sell me a Venu with an LED flashlight in it!!!
