This is hands down the best smart watch I have ever had. I have been wearing technical watches like this for over a decade - I was an early adopter and have use many different levels of watch from many different brands. I have worn these types of watches 24/7 for almost 15 years and this is the BEST and gives me ALL the information I need. I like it better than the Fenix series for the cost, comfort, and display. I think the Fenix is overkill for 99% of users. I have several other Garmin products such as cycling computers, a Tread, bicycle trainer, etc and anything the Venu is able to handle, my other devices which are activity/vehicle dedicated fill in. It is great.

I have it for about a month now and it is perfect. The nap feature is one of my favorite features. The heart rate alerts feature is also very beneficial. My sleep has improved by using the sleep coach. All of this together helps me increase my activity. I love it! I really like the meditation feature too.
despite its potential, falls short in several key areas, leading to a disappointing user experience overall.
As far as the Design and Build Quality goes, While the watch boasts a sleek and modern design, the overall build quality doesn’t live up to expectations. The materials used feel less premium compared to competitors in the same price range. The watch’s durability is questionable, with some issues with the screen and casing after minimal use. Oh and The “AMOLED” display is one of the few highlights, offering vibrant colors and clear visibility. However, the touch responsiveness can be inconsistent, leading to frustration when navigating through menus and apps. The real-world usage tells a different story as for the battery life. I found that the battery drains much faster than expected, especially when using features like GPS and music playback. This necessitates frequent charging, detracting from the convenience expected from a modern smartwatch. And it being non compatible with magnetic charging and can only be charged with the power cord it came with so keep that cord safe or you’ll have to buy a new one for $$$ Venu 3’s software is where it struggles the most. Users often encounter lag and glitches, with the watch sometimes freezing or restarting unexpectedly. The Garmin Connect app, which is essential for syncing and analyzing data, also suffers from connectivity issues, making it unreliable. While the Venu 3 is packed with a variety of health and fitness tracking features, their accuracy is inconsistent. Heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and GPS accuracy often provide conflicting data, leading to mistrust in the device’s reliability for serious fitness enthusiasts, the Garmin Venu 3 feels overpriced. There are other smartwatches available at similar or even lower price points that offer a more reliable and satisfying user experience. To conclude, the Garmin Venu 3, despite its promising feature set, falls short due to its inconsistent performance, questionable build quality, and poor battery life. Users seeking a dependable smartwatch might find better value and reliability elsewhere. Sorry garmin try again you have the Name but your losing face like my watch
I have had several issues with the watch and have yet to hear back from the seller. I like a lot of the features, but I will most likely return it if I don't get a response.
This is my first Garmin watch. I am a huge fan of it overall. I even bought another one for my mother last Mother’s Day. Charging once per week is awesome. 1) customizable watch face 2) customizable middle button functionality 3) customizable strength workouts. This has been a game changer for my fitness, “gamifying” my target heart rates for longer and longer intervals.
suggestions to Garmin: 1) super minor, if you’re not wearing the watch, and an alarm triggers, the watch will continue buzzing and beeping, draining battery life 2) rep counting in the strength app is about 70-90% accurate depending on how consistently “jerky” a lift is. For example, deadlifts are almost 100% accurate. But, compound exercises like clean & jerk are very inconsistent. 3) I wish watch could help me target a cardio heat rate. Perhaps once per minute , it could buzz once/twice to say “go faster!” Or “you should slow down!”
Overall, awesome product I recommend with beautiful display. Great for anyone looking to improve their fitness
