A Great Easy to Use Digital Watch
on November 20, 2024

I brought the Garmin Venu 3 a while back as I needed something to monitor my health as I will be 91 years soon. Each morning I checked my sleeping during the night, how many steps I am walking daily, how many calories I am burning daily and so forth. I am able to keep my weight to a healthy 170 lbs at the end of the day. I also have the Garmin scale that Island to an app that gives me valuable information on my health. For me the Garmin Venu is truly a great way to monitor my health on a daily basis. Highly recommend the Garmin Venu series smartwatch smartwatch. 1 wear the Garmin Venu 24/7.

I was ready to upgrade my original Venu which was Garmin's 1st wearable with an AMOLED display. I absolutely love the new Venu 3! With the larger AMOLED display, easy to navigate menu, upgraded features/activities, speaker/mic, long battery life make this a fantastic product!!!! I would highly recommend!!!

Very happy with the battery life and features

I was an Apple Watch user until my battery started to fail. When the new Apple series 10 and the top of the line Apple offered 18 hr battery life WHEN NEW, I looked for a better alternative. My Venu 3 lasts easily for 8-10 days and it gives me all the stats I want and more. So happy with my choice!

I love the Venu 3!

My niece purchased the Fenix solar watch and my sister bought the Venu 3. I waited a few months to justify swapping my Samsung Galaxy Watch because it was working fine - other than the terrible battery life. I also did like the solar feature of some Garmin watches, but with my recent diagnosis of skin cancer, I figured it best to not spend more time out in the Florida sun and risk that issue! So, the Venu 3 was my choice.
I am so glad that I bought the Venu 3! This watch has a larger face and therefore, a larger battery and longer battery life. I am on an insulin pump with closed-loop system to my Dexcom Glucose monitor. I want to see my glucose reading on my watch so that I am not constantly looking for my phone every 30 minutes or hour. The watch has limited faces and add-ons for glucose readings, which is sad. But, for the ones I can use, such as the IQ Store Face It feature, the watch is perfect for me! I can change the watch face to display my steps, stress level, glucose reading, battery level, and even display my company logo that I created! It makes the personalization of my Venu 3 more fun. While these features that I prefer are nowhere near the amount of apps, widgets, and other features available, these are the ones most important to me in my life. I believe that anyone can find the perfect watch face using Face It or the many other options from the IQ Store! I did change the watch band to one that tucks into itself. I find the watch lightweight and sleep with it every night. I do charge the watch while I get ready every morning, but honestly would not need to keep charging the battery because it drains about 10-12 percent in a day. The reason for this drain is the CGM glucose reading that is constantly running in the background. I still think this is MUCH better than my Samsung Galaxy watch that would leave me with about 30% battery life by the time bedtime rolls around, so I could not even wear that thing to sleep. The Venu 3 is GREAT!

Upgrades over Venu 2 Plus are nice
on November 15, 2024

I upgraded from a Venu 2 Plus because I was looking for the extended battery life. I haven't noticed a difference in the battery compared to the Venu 2 Plus. Maybe it is me. I have had a couple different watch face options, but nothing seems to get the 15 day battery life that is advertised. Maybe if I shut off everything I could get that. I get 6-7 days out of a charge depending on how many GPS runs I go on. Making calls from it is nice when I phone is farther away. The morning report, Pulse Ox, HRV, Sleep Coach are cool. The colors and display are great.
