Coming from a veloactive4, which worked just fine but the screen on the venu3 is so much better. Watch screen changes feel smoother as well. This just navigates and feels like a phone. Less guessing to find what you want. Great watch!
I wore the Garmin Vivoactive 3 for many years and decided to upgrade. I chose the Venu 3 and I am so glad I did. This watch is packed with fitness and health data. I love the sleep information I get every morning. I could go on and on. I seem to discover something new every day. If you want to improve your exercise and fitness programs get this watch.
I went from an Apple Watch to this watch, the Apple Technology is way smarter, and more user friendly. The look is wonderful, but it just lacks the ability to use apps with an iPhone. If you have another brand of phone maybe it would be a better option.
I unfortunately cannot return this watch so I am very disappointed.
Perfect balance between a sportwatch and a smartwatch! Does a great and accurate job tracking all my activities! Also lets you get text and email notifications, and allows you to answer calls on your watch as long as your phone is connected. Great battery life! I get about a week or more with daily use. I had the Forerunner 965 witch gave you a ton of activity information but little smartwatch features. I traded it in the Venu 3! It was just what I was looking for! You won't be disappointed!
I bought the venu 3 a few months ago it has everything I needed and more but yhe build quality felt cheap the buttons were like sponge when you pressed them and the app is a little clutered not at all what I expected im still on the search for the perfect watch so to be continued
As a kid I used to dream of a fancy aviator style watch... but could not afford what I wanted. Decades later the Venu 3 is all that & much more: - good accuracy for many of the measurement metrics - an impressive array of exercise tracking choices - long battery life with the right settings - many interesting watch face choices - a great way to compare my health/exercise profile with other men my age The main reason I got it was sleep tracking, and it has indeed prodded me to get more sleep.
The watch has more health and fitness features than Apple Watch. Body Battery, Stress, Sleep Coach (+Naps) and Morning Reports are superb! Have to spend quite a lot of time customizing watch face, use a ConnectIQ paid options but customization process I the app is very complex and long. It would be nice to change all settings on watch itself in live mode like on Fenix 8 built in faces. That's minus one star. Second flaw is bugs. The interface is slow overall, but it also can hang or the screen can go black but buttons are working, sound presents. There are usability bugs like when start a nap, DND isn't turning On by default - one problem, second - if you get a notification in Nap mode, you cannot do anything with it, it just sticks on the screen, and if you get ten messages they will just stack and the watch is buzzing which kills the Nap mood. I think they'll fix those bugs after a while but the watch is there for a year already which is strange.
