Great Watch

I upgraded to the Venu watch from a Vivo active 3 and love it! It tracks everything I need and the battery last quite a while as well. I can usually get 3 to 4 days out of it up hunting before needing to charge it. Definitely probably recommend this for beginner or intermediate runners. Has a ton of choices to pick from for activities to track. Very satisfied with this purchase as I have had it for around a year now.

They can’t get sleep right at all

If you’re buying this for insight into your sleep just stop right there. They get it wrong almost all of the time. You tell it when you normally go to bed and wake up, and it gives a poor output based on that. Are you watching tv after “bedtime”, it thinks you’re in light sleep. Do you nap during the day? It doesn’t recognize it. If I get up in the middle of the night to pee it thinks that’s when my sleep starts even though I’ve been asleep for hours leading up to it. It does such a poor job at figuring out sleep they should just remove the feature so as not to disappoint people looking for that info. 0-0 would not recommend.

I have had my watch for about a month. Learning more features every day. Had a gps system malfunction the other day and had to do a factory reset. Pain in the butt.

Needs work

There are some nice features to this watch, but when it comes to sleep and recovery, it is a dismal failure. It is rigid and unadaptable. The parameters are set and not adjustable. I use my Fitbit to monitor my sleep and recovery because the Venu 3 fails miserably.

Watch stuck on a boot logo

Received email 'Thank You for Registering Your Venu 3'. That would be fine, if I didn't register it more than a year ago. So, what Garmin is trying to do now?
Yesterday watch stuck up on blue triangle (boot logo). The usual measures like reboot etc.. didn't help. Found that it was not isolated case. Many other customers with five or six models of watches including Venu 3 were affected. So far Garmin didn't suggest good fix except factory reset. But if you update watch after factory reset, it goes to the same issue. Besides, you lose all your setup and practically have to start from the beginning. I would of give one star because Garmin be testing their updates more carefully, but I used the watch for a year and like it.

Great until

I was really enjoying this watch. I switched from an Apple Watch. Love the battery life and all the data I get. It was great until this blue triangle thing. Now I’ve lost all my data and still having a hard time getting it set back up.
