Very happy with battery life and features of the Venu 3. Haven't had a chance to use it for longer cycling rides or golf, but seems like it should work good.
I’ve been using this watch about a month now. I will never switch back to my Apple Watch. Features are amazing. I love the functionality and battery life for hiking. Across the board, the best.
All features are good & advance but 5G network are not visible on the watch, hence not able to connect directly. Please see if anything can be done about it. I have Venu 3, operating in India
I finally made the jump from my old Apple Watch to a Garmin and I don’t think I’ll ever go back. When doing my research about Garmin, I heard it described as “a fitness watch with smart watch capabilities,” and I believe this to be the most accurate description.
This is one of the best watches around for tracking fitness and lifestyle. I have been wearing it daily for about a month now and enjoy all the statistics of my day to day.
The battery on the Venu 3s is amazing! As preciously stated, I had an Apple Watch and could not make it through the day without needing it to charge for at least an hour. But this watch has never dipped below 85% battery during the day and charges to full while I take my daily showers.
Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend the Garmin Venu 3s for anyone looking!
I bought the Venu a couple of weeks ago. I have worn the Vivoactive, Vivoactive 4s and the Vivoactive 5. I finally got fed-up with the inconsistency of the HRM on the 5. I decided to upgrade to the Venu (larger size) and I am very happy with the decision. It has some features that I have not had before and the HRM is more accurate. I bought a Garmin HRM 600 so I would have very accurate measures. When wearing only the Venu watch it is way more accurate than than my Vivoactive 5 was. I swim laps in the pool with it, so open water swimming and use it on my bike. I like that I can very clearly see the screen, especially while swimming. Beautiful, bright display on this watch. The battery life is better than the Vivoactive 5, and this time of year I use the GPS a lot when training outside. I like the strong vibration for alarms and notifications, but also like that this Garmin has sound. I have answered my phone and made a call from the watch. I have an iPhone so I can’t use the text option. I am still exploring features on the watch, and I’m very satisfied with this Garmin and with my decision to upgrade and spend a bit more for a better HRM and additional features.
issue with the voice assistant as the issue is the phone is not seeing the watch secondary bluetooth connection it needs to use the voice assistant feature.
Per Garmin support.... As mentioned before, we are aware of the issue and have an active case setup to try and find out what is happening.
I had this watch for 5 to 6 days and only had the watch face I wanted for around 12 hours then it switched to Garmin generic face. I tried switching back to the face I downloaded and it would never come back up. Tried restarting, that didn’t work. I tried deleting the face I downloaded and downloaded again, and it would never change from the generic watch face. Tried factory reset and from there it would never link back up with my phone, after a day and half, I had enough. I returned the watch for full refund. I love Garmin, but for me the VENU 3 was a bad fit. My Forerunner 55 has been great, I may try the Instinct 2X Solar and see how that goes. I am not giving up on Garmin, just the VENU 3, we were Compatible.
This watch replaced a Fitbit that was four years old, and stopped tracking my steps or sleep score. So far, it works well, and hopefully it lasts longer than four years. Garmin could do better with training you to use all the features, as it's not easy to sift thru dozens of videos on its use, especially for new users to Garmin products.
