I bought it in the first day of availability in Romania and I was upgrading a Venu2 Plus. In my opinion the most important fact is the font dimension … Everything is very accurate and the morning journal is very nice to read every day.
Combine the smarts of an Apple Watch with the good looks of a Breitling or fine swiss timepiece and you have the Venu 3. There are terrific watch faces that make you look like you paid $10K for what's on your wrist. Then add accuracy and easy, and you're all set. I couldn't be happier.
I have been using the Venu 2 since launch and absolutely loved it. I am an avid runner who allows about 15000 steps a day with my wife who can’t run. This new Venu 3 is a great upgrade - really love the speaker and phone additions. Highly recommend.
I bought this and returned it. for 500eu should be able to not count steps while driving. Or the screen should not be laggish

My Garmin Watch is Not Accurately Counting Steps Many Garmin watches are designed to track repetitive walking motions as steps. Arm movement while walking will be captured by the internal 3-axis accelerometer in the watch which will record each complete swing of the arm as two steps.
I Am Getting Too Many Steps Some activities may cause irregular arm movement, resulting in the watch recording too many steps. These may include, but are not limited to:
Driving a vehicle (usually due to vibrations caused by rough terrain) Taking a shower A restless night of sleep Brushing your teeth
I love this watch, but was disappointed that the golf app is not the same as with the my Fenix 7x Solar. It shows only the green (and not the fairway/entire hole too) so you can't touch the screen to figure out carries to/over hazards like on the Fenix. Odd.
Purchased the Venu 3 after having issues with a competitor's tracker that failed to accurately register HR during exercise. The Venu 3 reads my HR accurately, is feature rich and has a good app. Just a few complaints so far: (1) Sync is one-way to Apple Health and most other apps/products (Garmin syncs to but not from); this means that readings from connected scales and BP cuffs (other than Garmin brand) as well as other connected exercise machines (e.g., Peloton, Hydrow, etc.) won't sync to Garmin without utilizing certain third party apps, making it difficult to use Garmin Connect as the "one-stop" source of tracking; (2) sleep tracker won't allow adjustment of 8 hour per day recommended sleep amount: people who regularly get/need less than that will always register "poor" or "fair" sleep; (3) Fitness Age relies on BMI (absent consistent body fat percentage which can only be fed by Garmin scale) which is often NOT a reliable indicia of health: for me to achieve a BMI that allows me to reach my lowest achievable Fitness Age would imply a very unhealthy (low) weight.
I haven't had this watch long but so far I love it! I upgraded from Instinct Solar, which I also loved. The Venu 3 just has a lot of great features. I wasn't happy that it only came with a type c connector for charging, so I couldn't charge it. I had to get a different cable so I could charge it! Besides that I am really enjoying it.
