So Far The Water is Hot, and It Turns Off Properly

This product is replacing an older electric kettle from a different brand where the auto-turn-off feature had stopped working. After a couple of trys of that one boiling out all the water, we got a new one (this Chefman brand one). I really like that the whole thing is clear, so you can see that the water is nice and clean, and see when it starts to boil, and I REALLY like that the auto-shut-off feature works, so that we don't set anything on fire. I also very much prefer this style where the kettle sits on a round base, and the base is what's connected to the electrical outlet. It's just so much easier to pour hot water that way without having to worry about the cord getting caught on everything.

I JUST got it last night. Boiled water twice to clean off the yuck. It’s pretty basic water pot. But it works. That’s all that matters
