Durable has a nice sleek look to it. I needed a two in one option for infusing my tea. Tea strainer is detachable so I can just boil water if needed.

Bought this unit to boil water for tea. Takes about 2 minutes to boil water. Glows blue. I also have a French coffee press that I am going to boil water for.

I just used the product! Started boiling under 4 mins and watched it auto shutoff (I intentionally didn't remove the kettle from the swivel base). Happy consumer
