Our Shefmsn Fast Boil electric kettle stopped working, we got this one to replay 5 year old one that stopped turning on. Unsure why this one which seems fancier is not working after only a month of use

It took 7 minutes to boil...but I have well water and its winter so my water is extremely cold. Still less time than heating the kettle on the stove
