I am amazed at the quality of this product. It boils very fast for how much water is in it. I like that the kettle is made of glass. The handle is nice and I love the detachable nature of it. The base is so simple and as soon as it’s finished it isn’t hot. You can put the kettle on the counter immediately after it boils and it won’t burn the countertop.

I really like this electric kettle, however, it does have a design flaw that will cause it to break and leak. And that is… That it is a bit heavy to lift when it has over 1 L of water in it, so my tendency was to hold the handle and to put my finger underneath the spout, especially when it was hot. However, overtime, it caused the upper part of the kettle to come loose from the glass, and so it began to leak. Apparently the top plastic and metal part of the kettle is simply glued to the glass, and the glue came loose. So this is my second, a replacement.. So my suggestion is that you design this kettle so that does not quite so awkward to lift it when it has over a liter of water in it.
