Fast boil, short product life

The Chefman is very easy to use. I was amazed how quickly the water comes to a boil. The automatic power off feature is also impressive. My only complaint is that part of the seal beneath the rim melted off and plastic bits actually fell into my hot water! I've only had this appliance for a year. I didn't use it often, only occasionally when I had guests over and needed to boil a lot of water for tea quickly. I have since then stopped using the Chefman for fear of ingesting plastic debris.

Second Chefman Electric Kettle

I had my 1st Chefman Electric Kettle for about 4 years, & loved it. It suddenly stopped working, so I immediately bought another. Hoping this new model works as well. Wished that I got at least 5 years out of the first, but can't complain at how well it worked, just the longevity.

It looks great on my countertop. I like that is 1.8l which is more than the 1.7l of other brands. The lid fully detaches for easy cleaning. Filters for pouring make it easy to use the pot to steep loose leaf team. Very happy with my purchase.
