Once you’ve boiled water and let it cool, its IMPOSSIBLE to remove the lid!

The kettle in itself is great, BUT once you’ve boiled water and let the kettle cool, it’s IMPOSSIBLE to remove the top lid. It’s like it’s glued on.

Love my chef man tea kettle it’s easy to use and heats water up so quickly. I just wish they lasted longer. Have to replace miné every other year and that is frustrating.

Kettle is decent but showing signs of starting to leak between the top plastic and the glass

Electric kettle is decent but showing signs of starting to leak between the top plastic and the glass. It's not bad at the moment but if it gets worse, it will be an issue. I like the magnetic lid that its borosilicate glass. Seems to heat the water reliably though I have no way to measure the temp to see what its getting to. I'm trusting the temp by watching it boil. Haven't verified the measurements but trust they are accurate enough. Spout is fine for my purposes and the handle has not failed me.
