Great small appliance

My husband loves tea but has trouble finding the right buttons to turn on the stove. This kettle has an easy on off button and boils water very quickly.
It's the perfect answer to his problem with the stove. He is 81 years old.

I use it for my cooking and for my instant soups. Easy to use and I love the light on the base of the kettle.

Lovely, good quality look. Very quick to boil.
But there is one problem - soon after water is put into the glass flask, it leaks down on to the power base. Potentially very dangerous with water so close to live electricity. Please advise what is your policy - supply replacement, or refund price ?
