Heats up water quickly and but not as hot as my mom's and she has the same one. Thats fine it gets it plenty warm for what I need it for but I worry this is a sign of future problems.

Great Kettle for a Long Time

I have enjoyed Chefman electric kettles for many years. My Model RJ11-17-STI-OT-RL worked great until the switch on the handle quit working. I am hoping my new Model RJ11-18-PL with the switch in the bottom of the kettle will continue to work longer.
