The cap just pops off no twisting or anything. This seems intentional, product still works.
There’s a confusing message under the cap “Twist Off This Way” with an arrow pointing outward. Which makes no sense because in order to see this message and arrow, the cap must already be removed. As far as I can tell, twisting is not a function of this cap. Odd.

Excellent product so far. I am a long distance truck driver and this is very handy for tea, instant coffee, noodles and such in the truck.
