2meats at once

I put one probe in a chicken breast and one probe in the chicken thigh. I was also cooking a ham or smoking ham on the Pit boss and put third probe inside. The Pit boss had to put the controller halfway between and it’s still picked up signals from all three everything turned out perfect was the best turkey I’ve ever cooked the pop-up timers get you close but usually over or you’re done and usually overdone. This was perfect. Going by the temperatures was awesome and it was so easy. All I had to do was read and the alarms go off when you get to the right temperature I can’t recommend this enough a little pricey, but think about it. You’re pretty much finished as far as needing any other probes unless you are a chef with multiple multiple multiple cuts of meat that you are tracking.

Difficult to set up

Web site would not let me disappear the qwerty keyboard after entering info. I had to switch to voice activation to “disappear” the keyboard to proceed to the next stop. Probe registration was also difficult. Although there were 3 probes in the case, each one had to be removed to be added to the unit. I discovered this by accident
