It came with no instructions

I am believing i must need some app or something. Got it as a gift. Absolutely no instructions. No idea what to do with it other than return it. I thought the scan would get me to instructions but was only to a warranty.

Received this as a Christmas gift. I have always wanted to own one. This has been great and easy to use. I enjoy being able to keep track using my app. Most surprising is the case the probe is kept in works as a speaker to inform you when the food has reached is temp.
