Interior Viewing Light Is Too Dim

I recently purchased the Chefman TurboFry Touch 6-Qt Easy-View Air Fryer, and overall I like the design and features. However, I am disappointed with the Easy-View window.
The interior light is extremely dim, making it nearly impossible to see the food through the viewing window, even in a dark room with the light turned on. The window appears so dark that the viewing feature is essentially unusable.
Since the product is marketed as an "Easy-View" air fryer, I expected to be able to monitor the food without opening the basket. I'm not sure if my unit has a defective LED or if this is the normal brightness, but it does not perform as expected.
Could you please let me know whether this is normal for this model or if my unit may be defective?
