This does everything right. The only mildly negative thing to note is it gets a little hot.

Solid metal box, great addition in the MacBook Ecosystem

Love the looks and the easy use. plug and play, that's all. Charges my Mac while I use 1 port, from there the monitor and other accessories connect to the hub. The solid metal contruction is awesome looking, so much that I found a way to hide it behind the monitor and quickly regret it and added double sided tape to have visual in the desk. Very clean look with 3 USB-C cables connected and a short Logi USB-A adapter connected.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Exceeding Expectations

I just got a new M3 MacBook Pro and wanted to use my old iMac as a second monitor. I picked up a Luna adapter to do so and while they say the adapter needs to be plugged directly into the laptop, it works perfectly with both the adapter, usb-c connection to the iMac, and my external Time Machine/backup drive attached. Do I need thunderbolt for all that, probably not, but I’m able to dock my laptop as needed using only one wire, so I’m beyond pleased. When my laptop isn’t plugged in, I can also use that one cord to charge my iPad or iPhone at full speed too. Another bonus!
