Good little hand mixer at a great price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in the middle of my holiday baking when my old mixer quit. I went in search of a replacement with a small budget. I found this gem on special at our local retailer. Got home, cleaned ther unit and away I went. The mixer worked great at mixing 40 dozen batches of various dough. Even thick doughs mixed well.

It's an OK mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not what I expected from a KITCHEN AID name. Beaters are chintzy and the 5 speeds hardly speed up. I was ready to throw away my 40 year old hand mixer, but now I'll keep it as a back up for when this 5-speed breaks down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
