Like the design and quality. However it is too big for my X1 carbon generation 6, more than an inch space from the top and left. Need to exchange for a 13” instead.

This is fine. Works well enough. It fits my T480s well, just slightly larger so there's some movement. It's padded but not very much. I place my laptop in this and then place it my my carry bag.
