I would buy this model again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this ice maker, I used it a few time and then lent it to a friends to use at his lake house for the summer. He uses at the dock so he can have parties and cold drinks during the day. He loves it. He said he may not give it back to me. It is great to have for parties so you dont have to run to the store to buy ice, which saves you money. The instructions were very detailed. #sweepstates

Ice tastes like plastic, even after 2 weeks of constant use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine does produce ice very quickly. But even after 2 weeks of constant use, the ice still tastes like plastic. Even with using filtered water. If you don't take the ice out and put it in a normal freezer, it will melt back into the reservoir under the basket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I really like the Compact Electric Ice Maker. It is very easy to use. I use it in my bar to make ice for gatherings and such. It makes individual ice cubes in no time and the ice does not melt fast...#sweepstakes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is wonderful! It makes ice so quickly. We love the smaller cubes because they fit into small or large glasses perfectly. It's amazing how much ice can be made in such a short time. The water reservoir has to be filled several times a day, but it allows the opportunity to empty the ice bin and fill up my freezer container with ice. We have lots of ice all the time. Great! And your price was $70 less than others I had priced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very convenient; Perfect size.for 1 or 2 people. Makes ice quickly, but storage area not well insulated, so by time it accumulates, 1st made are already melting. Overall, it is worth the sale price I paid. #sweepstakes
